News Update: FBI Documents show Ted...In news out of Washington today, previously private FBI documents show that Senator Ted Kennedy faced nearly constant assassination threats against him for decades. Five years after President John F. Kennedy was killed -- and shortly after Sen. Robert F. Kennedy's death -- one letter warned that Ted Kennedy would be the next to die in October of 1968. Nearly two decades later, in 1985, the threats continued -- this time including a threat against President Ronald Reagan as well. As it released the 2352 pages from Kennedy's FBI file, the agency said the threats came from "multiple sources," including individuals, anonymous persons, and members of radical groups including the Ku Klux Klan. There is no indication that any attempts were actually made on Kennedy's life.
