Starting around 5:20p Pacific we starting seeing an unusually high number of errors on the site as well as increased latency. We are working on this problem now. Update (5:45p): This problem has been resolved.

We have temporarily disabled the SMS delivery of tweets. We are continuing to work on a fix for the misdelivery problem noted earlier and will turn the service back on as soon as this is resolved. Update (11:47p): This issue has now been fixed. Both updating from SMS and receiving messages via SMS should work as expected.
