We are currently working on problems affecting the SMS service for Twitter. Users will notice that Twitter is not responding correctly to commands sent over the SMS service. We’re working through a problem whereby some users are seeing tweets from users they do not follow. This is obviously a significant problem and one we are working hard to address. We have temporarily disabled the SMS delivery of tweets. We are continuing to work on a fix for the misdelivery problem noted earlier and will turn the service back on as soon as this is resolved.
