  A NEW CHAPTER IN HISTORY AGI REVISITS APOLLO 13 ON ITS 40th ANNIVERSARY April 2010 marks the 40th anniversary of Apollo 13's historic space flight. In honor of the occasion, AGI and noted space author Andrew Chaikin teamed up to tell a part of the story that they unearthed and validated with the help of original mission personnel. This animation is narrated by Chaikin, author of "A Man on the Moon." In the video, he explains how he and AGI engineers used STK software to analyze data from Apollo 13. In doing so, they came up with information that challenged conventional wisdom. Most history books had long speculated that if the Apollo 13 crew had not been able to bring their stranded craft safely back home, they would have orbited Earth indefinitely. Using AGI's STK software to reenact the event, AGI and Chaikin learned that the crew's fate would have been far different.   On December 10th 1989 the first TAC commercial went to air. In that year the road toll was 776; by last year 2008 it had fallen to 303. A five minute retrospective of the road safety campaigns produced by the TAC over the last 20 years has been compiled. The montage features iconic scenes and images from commercials that have helped change they way we drive, all edited to the moving song Everybody Hurts by REM. This campaign is a chance to revisit some of the images that have been engraved on our memories, remember the many thousands of people who have been affected by road trauma and remind us all that for everyones sake; please, drive safely.   Alien Swarm SDK - Spawning ALIENS!!
  Ok, this is tutorial number 3, BASIC (4/10), the ALIEN / SPAWN tutorial. Ok so this is a VERY simple tutorial on how to spawn the aliens.. I've been working on a lot of aliens this afternoon and well, some things worked but a lot didn't. Spawning 100+ aliens at 1 time is fun though, certainly with a flamethrower :D. The hatch / vents thing isn't working properly, will do some more research / trials to see if i can make it work. At this time, the aliens will crawl from underground through the vent / hatch, but they spawn at least 1 second after the hatch breaks into the "open" one. Need to fix that. -- NEXT TUTORIAL: Dynamic lighting! (I KNOW ITS NOT LIGHTNING :D. read the shit below lol :D). -- NEXT NEXT TUTORIAL: SNOW :D Don't mind my language, english isn't my main language so pronunciation is a bit crappy :P IF you have any questions please ask them ok! next tutorial will be a how to spawn aliens :D
