Ellen DeGeneres Twitter Follower to Win $1,000
If you’re like the rest of us old farts, you probably skipped the Teen Choice Awards, which aired earlier this evening on FOX. We’re sure it was full of teen-irific surprises, but what really piqued our curiosity is that high profile celebrity Twitterer, Ellen DeGeneres ( @TheEllenShow ), won the award for Choice Twit (was Ashton in the running?), and in the process promised to make the prize worthwhile to a lucky Twitter follower. Ellen is currently the service’s second most popular user and is fast approaching 3 million followers.
